Sanford Officer Patrick Rehder reports that George Zimmerman saved four people from a burning SUV that rolled over
Officer Patrick Rehder
Police report of Zimmerman's heroism
On July 22, major media sources reported that George Zimmerman saved four people from a burning SUV that had overturned off the Interstate. The alleged accident happened on Monday, July 17, at 4:47 pm. This was coincidentally two days after George Zimmerman was found “not guilty” of the murder of Trayvon Martin. Officer Rehder, “Is this the whole truth, nothing but the truth, so help you God?”

Others are discussing
1. There is no written report that mentions George Zimmerman or anyone else was at the scene.
2. There seems to be no picture of the accident. Passers by love to take pictures, especially teenagers.
3. Maybe the fire department report can help make sense of this.
4. It's amazing that the van rolled over, caught on fire, and no one was hurt. Maybe there is a paramedic report somewhere.
Miranda's Tow has no comment
Miranda's Tow removed the vehicle from the scene. No one at the towing company is willing to talk about the accident.
"When contacted by MailOnline a member of staff said: 'We have got nothing to say' before slamming down the phone."
Why can't the tow company just verify that they went to the scene and towed the vehicle?

Newsball is hot on the trail
This "accident" is a super sleuth's buffet. For them, it equals or surpasses the addictive games on Facebook. Rehder's Facebook page includes several uncomplimentary posts about minorities.
According to Newsball, a relative of Officer Rehder, in fear of having to go into hiding, spoke on this mystery. According to the family member, admitted to seeing “George” listed in Rehder’s text call log dated and stamped 7/17, 5:51 PM eastern. The member further stated that the record shows a series of calls prior to 7/17 between Rehder and the same number labeled “George” in the phone. This family member said he/she just ants the scrutiny and chaos to go away.
My thought: What family member would be close enough to Rehder to be able to check his phone?

The Gerstle Family in fear
The Gerstle family arrived home to see their neighborhood swamped with media. They wanted nothing to do with the media because they didn't want to be accused of making George Zimmerman a hero. However, it is perplexing that they later planned to have a press conference at Mark O'Mara's office.
It would make more sense to speak to all media at one time from their home than to go to O'Mara's office. Going to O'Mara's office might advance the idea that they consider Zimmerman a hero. Speaking from their lawn would merely be an opportunity to state the facts.
Mr. Gerstle, The truth will set you free
To be continued
I don't know if all, or any, of this is true. I can understand why people are investigating. Major media has backed off of this story. I'm sure they don't want to get sued so they are playing it safe.
Now I'm sure some will attack me for writing this Hub. I wanted to write something that wasn't boring and does not include a lot of opinion or misinformation. Please feel free to add what you know.
